After years of eating at Under the Volcano we had another great meal once again. The margaritas are always good,as well as the chips and salsa before the meal. I tend to stick with the spicy foods whereas my wife prefers it relatively mild. My wife had the beef burrito and I the blackened chicken chimichanga (made extra hot). The desserts are fantastic but my favorite has to be the deep fried ice cream. The new location is still being settled into it seems but I'm looking forward to seeing it all finished.

its a very cozy type of place with a nostalgic feel...old marilyn monroe and elvis pictures on the wall..its been there about 45 years or more the service is very good done by the hostess missy she is very charming and friendly and loves to tell you a good story...its a nice place to go and enjoy with some nice food and read your newspaper...its a nice little hidden getaway i highly recommend prices very very inexpensive and perfect to fit anyones budget
