I can't help but think that some of these...

I can't help but think that some of these negative reviews are from competitors - there's no way anybody ate at Kori's and didn't love it. Complaints of slowness in this context are absurd. How fast do you expect 3 ladies to serve 200+ hungry people over a lunch hour? Bottom line is the roti at Kori's is fabulous and has no equal, the service is (in my experience at least) always friendly, and the price is right. Note - Suicide roti is NOT for the timid. It's prolly the hottest curry in southern Ontario.

Lived in Trinidad when I was young and everytime...

Lived in Trinidad when I was young and everytime I visit Kori's I get nostalgic. Her rotis are absolutely to die for... Even though I no longer live nearby, everytime I am back visiting, a Kori's roti is a MUST!!! [tip: order ahead to pick up in order to minimize the waiting time... plan to take it home or elsewhere to eat]

Prior to moving to Oakville a year ago, my wife...

Prior to moving to Oakville a year ago, my wife and I would drive to Kori's from Toronto on almost a bi-weekly basis during the summer. Her food is as good as anything you can get in Trinidad. The service is great - just very Trini (which might not be to everyone's taste). Reminds me of visiting the food kiosks by Store Bay in Tobago - only Kori's food is better.

The food is great but the price is a little...

The food is great but the price is a little higher than most roti shops in Toronto, Mississauga and Hamilton. The quality of the food is excellent and that is what you pay for! The roti shell is really soft and melts in your mouth reminds me of mum's cooking. The curry is great but too much sauce makes it very messy to eat like back home (Trinidad)and not with cutlery!
